« They go out. Greek people go out more often. Albanians try to save their money, to economize. They haven’t come here to have fun. They came to make a living. They don’t have any other source of income and so they . . . are careful with their wages. They don’t go to bouzouki nightclubs and bars. So, Albanian people are a little bit thrifty. They don’t spend money just like that. They are not spendthrifts. The Greeks waste away their money a lot. »

« I save about, let’s say, thirty euros because I have set a goal. See I want to do a lot of things with this money, to do whatever I like, let’s say. To save it, for example, in order to go on holidays for a week to Skiathos island! Yes, I want to save up money, okay. I want to. But this is not my business. It’s my parents’ business! Because at this age I am only thinking about what I am going to do individually. But…concerning the money, my parents are the ones who decide what they are going to do with it. I get a certain amount of pocket money every week and I say "I’ll keep that for myself." I give them the rest and they can do whatever they want with it. But my parents know what they’re doing. »
