« I joined -I was one of the first women to join the [Albanian] association, years ago, in order for us to be organized, to make an effort to save our culture. [To have] a cultural association, not a political one. To try to stage plays, to learn about the traditional costumes, you know, about the clothing. [An association that would promote] those kind of efforts. »

« Eh, I don’t know. Sometimes, for example, my mother tells me "Today is such-and-such a day." How would I remember? "Really, mom?" Eh, we celebrate them. For example [we celebrate] the first of May or Christmas. And various other holidays. […] We barbeque…I don’t know exactly what they do, my mother knows. We prepare a strange food they also make in Albania. And that’s all. Okay, now I don’t stay very long at these celebrations. After all they do all these things by themselves. »
