Mihalis

Mihalis comes from Albania ; he was born in 1982 at Goskov (near Korçe) and came in Greece for the first time in 1998. At the time of the interview his worked as a 'Construction worker'.

Summary:

The interview was conducted in the university building. In 1998 Mihalis came to Greece for the first time; since then he has never gone back to Albania. His family has 7 members. They all live in Greece now, except from his sister who has remained in Albania. They all live together in the same house. Some of the main issues discussed in the interview concern: his decision to be baptized, his views on marriage, his family relations and his disagreements with his parents, the differences he sees between Albanian women who live in Albania and those who have migrated to Greece, his ways of entertaining himself here, his views on Albania and whether he plans to return or not.
