Vlado comes from Bulgaria ; he was born in 1975 at Kertzeli and came in Greece for the first time in 2003. At the time of the interview his worked as a 'Construction worker'.

Summary:

The interview was conducted at the informant´s home. Vlado is 31 years old and he has studied music. He decided to migrate because the conditions in Bulgaria were very difficult. At the time of the interview he was living with a young woman from Bulgaria, with whom he intends to get married. The main issues that came up during the interview concern: his future marriage and the practice of matchmaking, the gender relations both in Greece and in Bulgaria, his friends in Greece, relations within the Bulgarian community in Greece, leisure activities, Bulgarian music, his disagreements with Greeks who think Bulgaria is an underdeveloped country, his efforts to obtain a residence permit, the fact that he can´t visit his country of origin and his desire to return there someday.
